MAK Caddis
The MAK Caddis posses as a great net-spinning and case-building caddisfly imitation, not to mention its resemblance as a mayfly larvae as well. The smooth taper and ombre blend add to its multifaceted appearance. The slim synthetic profile holds a slick form through the water aiding it in sinking right into THE ZONE. This pattern has been a big fish producer (scroll through photo gallery) all over the country, although its origin story is intimiately rooted in the Iowa Driftless. This pattern never falls short of meeting every expectation in versatility, simplicity, and productivity, as is true for all of my custom patterns.

Reviews
This is a go-to fly for the driftless most of the year round. It's in my top 5 flies- maybe top 3. I either have to purchase more or try and retie something similar because I use them so often. Typically the trout will shred them to pieces over time. The original MAK Caddis is phenomenal and needs to be in your fly selection.
